About a year ago I was looking for one of the Tim's shifters [Woody75 & Silvertwin(OH)]. I had posted a wanted ad in the classifieds, but got no bites. Peter (itsa300zx) emailed me a couple weeks later telling me that he modifies stock shifters just like Tim's (woody75). I didn't end up taking the deal last year, but about a month ago I started looking again and decided to give Peter's shifter a try. He said he would let me try it and if I didn't like it I just had to send it back. The shifter came nicely packaged and repacked with grease. Got the shifter installed and have been driving with it for about 200 miles. A huge difference vs stock! The only problem I have found is most likely transmission or installation related and that is - when shifting quickly, it crunches into the gears. I tried loosening the nut, but it still does it. When shifting normally, it goes in smooth with no crunch and not too notchy. Let me say that I do think I have it in backwards - possibly causing the crunching into gears? sorry for the large pictures.. Stock on the right - Modified on the left

I am very happy with the shifter. Peter was quick to reply to my emails and quick to ship it out (took about a week from Canada). He modifies them on his spare time as a hobby, so if you are interested shoot him an email.
